So apparently, Claudio Ranieri keeps a stopwatch with him every time he watches a Liverpool match, because the grey-haired one thinks Xabi is too slow for Juve – a team that consist mostly of 30 year olds. Ok fair enough. Xabi is pretty much a holding midfielder/playmaker in Liverpool and Spain. Not sure whether it is feasible for him to be any quicker, considering the fact that EPL is already fast-paced compared to other Euro leagues. Oh well, at least we get to keep Xabi for now. Wait till Arsenal kicks your sorry Italian arses in UCL!
But then he went on to call Rafa’s midfielders “little soldiers”. Little? You’re calling our Monster Masch, Captain Fantastic MBE, Xabster, etc…little soldiers!?! Guess he must be pretty sore that he couldn’t get Xabi’s services, because the pass maestro could have made a difference to Juve, who is now sitting ugly at 11th in Serie A, and in EPL terms, that would be like being in Man City’s shoes…a team which we just walloped last weekend : ))
Is it me or does anyone notice our Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtel has an Arabic tattoo that spells his first name…(i might be wrong…but it pays to watch EPL re-runs)
