Observations I made during last Saturday BPL matches
1) West Ham and West Brom were wearing sponsorless jerseys.
West Ham’s previous sponsor, XL, went bust and WBA has yet to find one.
Man Yoo might be next on the list of teams with sponsorless jerseys.
2) The 2 heavyweights lost their central defence to red cards.
Man Yoo’s Vidic got sent off after 2 yellows in the 2nd half, whilst Chelski’s Terry got sent off for being rubbish at tackling (haha well, that’s my version)
3) Liverpool’s ex-defenders, Danny Guthrie and Stephen Warnock, both made defensive errors -Warnock gave away a penalty, which was later converted by Adebayor, whereas Guthrie was sent off for a stupid tackle on Hull’s Fagan. Both were on the losing sides.
4) Gora, Zamora, Xisco and Robinho scored their first for their respective new teams. There were 2 own goals, 3 penalties and 4 red cards on Sept 13 BPL fixtures.
5) Newcastle and West Ham had caretaker managers. Ex-Man Yoo players-turned club managers (including current Man Yoo manager), did not gain 3 points from Saturday’s fixtures –> Ince, Hughes, Bruce, Keane, Fergie)
6) Yesterday marks Rafa’s first win against Man Yoo throughout his managerial career with LFC.
7) I shouldn’t have sold Michael Turner or Mido in NFC Manager :\
