It is not often that we get to taste victory against the Red Devils (Good on ya, Rafa!)
So here I am, gloating over our home win.
We did it without Torres, so imagine if we had substituted him or Ngog in.
Liverpool had more attempts on goal, and we actually brought the game to man yoo, even though we were playing most of the match, without Gerard, and Torres. Sweet attacking football, that caused the opponent’s defence to tire and foul unnecessarily (think, Vidic)
Thank you Wes Brown for the own goal…fancy a Liverpool jersey to go along with that, mate? Haha
And thank you Ryan Giggs. Instead of just conceding a corner, he decided to go for it with Masch, and what a huge blunder it turned out to be.
Riera was superb on his Liverpool debut. I felt he linked up well with Aurelio and he caused a lot of problems on the left. I reckoned it would be a matter of time before he gets on the scoresheet. He’s got potential.
The look on Fergie’s face was so priceless. Let’s hope Villareal or Chelsea will pick up where we left off.
P.S: Do not watch Babylon A.D (the new Vin Diesel movie), it’s as rubbish as Robbie Keane in front of goal.
